India tour of West Indies: Virat Kohli as Captain again,KL Rahul retains his place in the squad despite poor performances.

The much awaited team selection after the world cup Indian Cricket team selection committee led by MSK Prasad was announced earlier today in Mumbai.

Virat Kohli will lead the side in all the three formats, after he made himself available for the full tour with desperate measures since the rumors of handing over the Captaincy of Limited overs to Rohit Sharma was looming.

• KL Rahul retains his place in all the three squads despite scratchy performances and after the criticism around favoritism shown by the captain for him. 
• MS Dhoni already announced for not being available for the tour.
• Hardik Pandya misses out on the tour due to fitness issues.
• Shikhar Dhawan makes a comeback in the limited overs after sustaining fractured thumb in the World cup, misses out on the test spot.
• Prithvi Shaw misses out after not being recovered from hip injury.
• Wridhiman Saha makes a comeback into the test team as a backup wicket-keeper after a long sustained shoulder injury.
• Jasprit Bumrah rested from the limited overs format. Khaleel Ahmed, Navdeep Saini called up.
• Kuldeep-Chahal left out from T20's. Washington Sundar, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar included after some good performances in IPL and on-going West Indies-A tour.
• Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer called up considering the options to fill up the longstanding middle order woes. The move was expected after good IPL season for their respective teams and performances for India-A.
• Dinesh Karthik have been left out of the squad.

 The tour starts of with the T20's starting from 3rd August in Lauderhill, Florida.
